Permalevel Functionality
Permalevel® is designed for permanent contents verification using simple, clean, non-invasive and effective ultrasonic technology. The ultrasound identifi es the interface between liquid and gas in almost any single skinned container. Time and risk are minimised, whilst optimising safety efficiency.
The unit is connected to the mains power supply to ensure the Permalevel® is in constant operation. If the level falls below the optimum point, the RS232 interface automatically relays a warning signal, or whatever the installation engineer routes it to an alarm or central monitoring panel, as required.
Permalevel®’s unique advantage is that it is permanently in situ, without interference to the installation – either in installation or operation – and it is able to alert the safety operator if a significant drop in level occurs in the holding vessel identifying a leak or potential hazard.
